L’Officine Universelle Buly 1803 has been an integral part of the fragrance life of Paris since Jean-Vincent Bully set up shop on the rue Saint-Honoré in – yup – 1803 (he even appeared in a Balzac novel). And the company is very much still in the business of creating inventive and exquisite scents, like the Alexandrie candle, a moonlit, lemony, precious-stones, swaying-palms kind of scent. The candle is made from all-natural ingredients and sits on a marble holder.
